I was wondering how your department feels about lights on your personal vehicles.

Michelle, we allow our members to use lights on private vehicles, we have guidelines for use and encourage safe driving at all times. Since we respond from our homes and work it helps to identify and expedite our services.

Thank you for the information. I'm part of a rescue squad and trying to find someone who uses lights on their personal vehicle and what type they suggest.

Michelle, If you google warning lights you will find several sites that will help you. I have LED's as well as a flasher unit for my head lights. The LED's are very cost effective and are very dependable. I hope this helps.
